David Goodman
Boxing Instructor
David, a former unathletic bookworm, discovered his love for boxing at age 15 when he fought back against bullies and performed better than expected. That moment sparked an obsession that has lasted over 50 years.
Professional training and a book on Cus D’Amato’s “Peek-A-Boo” boxing style, later used by Mike Tyson to become the youngest Heavyweight Champion, guided David’s journey. Over the years, his passion has grown, not only for the sport itself but also for its technical aspects and the power of the knockout.
David also focuses on optimizing fitness, conditioning, and integrating boxing techniques into other martial arts. He believes that with concentration, discipline, and mindful practice, anyone—whether youth, adult, or senior—can become a dangerously destructive striker. He would be honoured to guide you along the way.
